Print Making

Styrne was used into which we engraved our prints. We used scratch tools to shape and carve the stencil we wanted. I engraved a beach shell into my rectangular shaped glass. I added several markings and designs to each layer of the conch shell,

I drew a shell because of what it means to me. On the beach everything is calm and beautiful. I love to visit the beach and it means a lot to me to go there. The technique is just scratching against the glass like material. I liked how easy it was to trace it but it was hard to scratch pretty deep.

This was a nice project to do and I liked it a lot . It was fun to experiment and to try this with color and black and white.
